What is Tizags?


Tizags is a social bookmarking site. Social bookmarking is system where users store links to web pages that they find useful or interesting. These links are accessible to the public or a specific network, and other people with similar interests can view the links by category, tags, or even randomly.

How do I use Tizags?


Anyone can view the links that have been submitted to Tizags, as well as comments on links. Visitors can also filter by who submitted the link, by tag, or use the search. The advanced features of Tizags are only available to registered users.

What are Tizags' advanced features?


After you've registered to create an account and logged in, you can:
  • Submit links
  • Vote on links
  • Comment on links
  • Report a link as inappropriate
  • Hide links by who submitted them
  • Hide tags you don't want to see
  • Add users to you 'friends' so you can easily see links they submit
  • Save links

You can manage the advanced features and filters as well. Once you're logged in, you'll see a 'profile' link in the upper right. This takes you to your profile management page:

How do I register?


Easy - just click the register button in the upper right of any page. No email confirmation required, but Tizags does check to make sure the email is valid. Choose a user name and a pasword (and confirm it) and click submit. That's all there is to it! Youcan start posting links or using the adcanced features right away.

How does Tizags rank link?


Tizags uses a combination of factor to rank links. The way it currently works, Tizags makes sure new links get a chance to be seen on the home page before they are overshadowed by links with a lot of positive votes.
